One of the best of RV Parks in California!

Hailed in the L.A. Times as the "Ritz of RV parks", The Newport Dunes Resort has more to offer than you would expect. They have water and beach activities, kayak and boat rentals, and events throughout the year. They host a super bowl party, a dog fashion show, a boat show, and casino nights.

Here, on the coast of Orange County, simple pleasures blend seamlessly with luxury and fun. Newport Dunes Resort has most of the comforts of home, plus a friendly community, and daily events like craft classes, campfires, and potlucks. There are tiled bathrooms and TV hookups, and many of the luxuries of a five-star hotel, but also the neighborly feeling of a traditional RV park.

Newport Dunes Resort is the perfect place to take your family on their next vacation. "We've tried to create the atmosphere of a country club," says general manager Andrew Theodorou. He prides himself on providing everything his guests might desire. That includes a playground and a video arcade for the kids. No one in your family will be bored for a single moment!

If you don't have an RV, you can stay in the mobile cottages, which are spacious and less expensive than a traditional hotel. The RV park has a swimming pool, grocery store, and rec room on-site, as well as pavilions, cabanas, and barbecues. Even better, it's amazing how affordable it is.

If you stay there over the summer, don't miss the "movies on the beach" event, where a giant screen is set up on the beach and family-friendly movies are shown. Pizza and snacks are sold and campfires are set up for roasting marshmallows and making s'mores. Events such as this set up the community atmosphere that will bring you back year after year.

The Newport Dunes Resort location is great for other activities, too. Check out the nearby restaurants in Orange County. The Z-Tejas restaurant offers some surprising American food. They focus on cuisine that had its start in Texas, such as catfish beignets, or grilled ruby trout. There is also the Back Bay Cafe right on the resort, with views of the bay.
