Find a Great Family Cruise Deal

Take a Cruise and Save Stress and Money!

A friend and her family just returned from Europe. They marveled at the sights, dined on exotic foods, and met interesting people from around the world. Her two complaints were the cost and stress. The U.S. dollar is weak, so hotels were expensive, food was pricey, and travel among countries stressful at times.

Thinking about taking your family to Europe? What if I told you about four-star accommodations, gourmet cuisine, daily childcare, spa treatments, and Broadway-style entertainment for much less money and hassle than my friend's trip? Yes, it's possible. Book a cruise.

Next summer, Disney Cruise Lines offers eight special cruises visiting eight ports-of-call in the Mediterranean. Families can explore Florence, Rome, Pisa, Barcelona, and Marseille while enjoying a carefree cruise experience. While cruising, you unpack once while daily visiting new cities. No living out of a suitcase.

Parents can visit a romantic port destination or dine out one evening while their children enjoy the supervised fun of an entire deck dedicated to their wants and needs. The new Ocean Quest offers age-appropriate activities from early morning to late evening. Babies, as young as four months, are welcome into the Flounders Nursery. A new jumbo LCD screen on deck 9 offers movie viewing from the pool or sunning deck.

This summer Disney Cruise Line is offering two new itineraries. Every fourth week, starting May 27 through Dec. 9, 2006, the Disney Magic will stop twice at their private island, Castaway Cay. Guests can dine on lobster burgers, snorkel to find Mickey's hidden treasure, or have a relaxing massage overlooking the Caribbean waters. Other ports-of-call are Costa Maya and Cozumel.

Likewise, sister ship, Disney Wonder, embarks on two special 10 and 11-night itineraries. The 10-night cruise departs on Sept. 7 and the 11-night cruise on Sept. 17, 2006, with calls at St. Thomas, St. Lucia, Barbados, Antigua, St. Kitts and Castaway Cay.
